I've been receiving a lot of emails lately, asking about the state of the site. The story is - it would have likely been online by now, however, while I was in Vancouver to see Puscifer last week - I lost all of the updated work I had done due to my buddies MacBook (that was sporting Windows XP) failing. Blue screen of death. You can imagine my bitterness. My own MBP is suffering from a dead HDD. Bad luck much?

As for the forum - there are a lot of reasons why it's not online; procrastination, laziness, but the big piece of this particular pie lays in the fact that we were simply not happy with the tone and attitude that the TT forum had spawned. The forum was a cesspool of racism, bigotry and other less than mature qualities. We never wanted to be the guys impeaching users for their obvious freedom of speech and/or expression - however, there is a limit to the tolerance of blatant insolence an disrespect for fellow human beings.

The extended break, in my hopes, will perhaps remind people to be a bit more understanding and courteous of other people and their beliefs/way of life/lizzard skin. The TT forum itself was always a gold mine when it came to informative writings of various forms - musical gear especially. We want to promote that kind of content again. So here's to hope.

Regardless, the wait is nearly over...
